Created by French young designer Mostapha El Ouhlani for Dar En Art, La Ruche (The Hive in English) is a quite brilliant and modular bookcase system inspired by both the natural shelter build by bees and traditional forms of architecture Arab Andalusia.

These storage units hexagonal overleap each other.

The base module made of lacquered wood consists of a perforated pattern that refers to latticework and the design of which evokes the disintegration of the cells can be observed on certain hives.

These hexagonal modular components can be easily move and combined into endless compositional possibilities.
