Anantara Resorts has opened the Anantara Kihavah Villas last February. Located on Kihavah Huravalhi in the Maldives, the resort is just 35 minutes by seaplane from Male International Airport.

The Anantara Kihavah features 74 one-bedroom villas and 4 two-bedroom residences ranging from 2,800 to 9,250 square feet, designed in timber and marble, with infinity-edge pools, expansive wooden sun decks, outdoor rain showers, and oversized bathtubs for two.

Besides its “jungle spa,” one of the most exciting features of this new resort is the underwater restaurant and wine cellar, billed as unique among the world’s resorts.

Rates start at $1,170 per night for a beach pool villa up to $6,625 for a two bedroom over water pool residence.
