Domenic Alvaro, principal of Woods Bagot Sydney studio has completed the Small House project in 2010.

Designed for the architect himself, this five story house sits on a tiny 452 square foot corner lot in Surry Hills, an inner-city suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Inspired by architects in Tokyo who are used to working with incredible small spaces, the house has been awarded the World House of the Year at the prestigious 2011 World Architectural Festival award ceremony in Barcelona.
