Liebel Architekten BDA created this modern residence for a family living in Aalen, Germany.

Although the sloped site seemed to be unfit for building purposes, it proved to be an exciting new challenge for the architect.

House Zochental by Liebel Architekten BDA:

“A building site in a valley with a steep slope on the southern side. “Not buildable” thought many interested buyers. “What a challenge!” Delighted the architect!

The slope seals off the south side of the house completely from the outside world, so that the building can open to the garden with a large amount of glazing. From every room you can enjoy a beautiful view of the countryside.”
