Vivienda en Arnedo was designed by n232 and is located in Arnedo, Spain.

The home is simple and clean, and a sense of order is felt in every space.

Vivienda en Arnedo by n232:

“This dwelling is the consequence of a relationship between two major entities.

The first one is a perimeter that was inherited from the existing apartment, and the second one is a wooden volume which mutates and adopts different shapes and functions in accordance with the space needs.

All the spaces of the house are born from this relationship.

Downstairs, the functions of each space meet the public use of the apartment. The living room, the dining room, the small pantry, the kitchen, the toilets, and two guest bedrooms are found in this floor.

Upstairs there is a more private and quiet space. The master bedroom, a bathroom, a children’s bedroom and a cinema room are found here.

There is an enclosed universe of materials used in this house, looking forward to accomplishing a calm, relaxing and honest space to spend one’s life, and where wood is real wood, metal is metal, and the remainder is a uniform background to project personal belongings from the inhabitants’ lives.

Container and contents show again the clues for the establishment of the architectonic relationships which draw a home as a final aftermath.”
