Cedar Park House was designed by Peter Cohan, and it is located in Seattle, Washington.

The spacious home overlooks a lake, and is surrounded by lush vegetation that adds to its picturesque quality.

Cedar Park House by Peter Cohan:

“The Cedar Park House confronts the predicament of living on an edge. It takes advantage of the prospect afforded by a steep site while at the same time strengthening the fragile slope, reducing the volume of water that threatens to destabilize it and minimizing the energy required to do so.

The building is formed by the interaction of side-cast concrete walls an water-collecting roofs, each of which respond to the exigencies of the site. At the same time the transparency of the house creates a seamless spatial experience, connecting inside and out.”
