This historic canal house was designed by Remy Meijers, and it is located in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

Though the building itself is a historic structure, its interior is far from it, and is decorated in a contemporary manner, with elegance and style.

Historic Canal House by Remy Meijers:

“History meets the present day in a canal-side house situated just a stone’s throw away from the centre of the city of Utrecht.

This seventeenth-century property which houses a home and an office has been brought right up to date while retaining the building’s historical features.

In particular, a wonderful sense of spaciousness has been created in both the office area and the living quarters.”
