“The challenge of this San Francisco apartment was to open up the previously closed Edwardian interiors to views on two sides of the building to the San Francisco Bay and Marin hills beyond.
Existing interior walls were removed when possible and new hidden beams installed to combine rooms into larger living areas.
Great attention was paid to creating spaces for the client’s extensive contemporary art collection as well as to creating multiple spaces for modern entertaining.”
