Apartment Z by KiwiStudio:

“Apartment Z. is a residential project designed by KiwiStudio in 2016. The apartment is located in Bucharest, Romania, and consists of 3 bedrooms, a large living room with a dining, a small kitchen and two bathrooms.

Our main goal was to provide a space that was comfortable, cosy and wam, without compromising on the design.

For the living room, we choose to play with neutral shades and mix in only a few drops of colour on one accent wall.

This way we created the hot spot in the dining area, which is the wall covered in Muratto cork tiles of three different colors: black, yellow and neutral. It is the most eye-catching element of the room, it draws attention and it creates a feeling of warmth in this pale, light-toned décor.

As for the furniture and decorations, we opted for New Scandinavian pieces for their clean and exquisite design.

The master bedroom has a slightly different approach. We played a little more with colors and contrast to create this lush and intimate setting.

For the children’s room we chose to have a navy theme, with lots of blue hues and marine decorations.”
