House A, a private home located in Minsk, Belarus, is nearly one of a kind in its unique combination of modern exterior construction and homey interior decor. Completed in 2016, this ultra modern home was designed and created by architect Igor Petrenko. Besides the inset pool flanked by a beautiful stone privacy partition and a unique geometric temperature controlled designer seat, perhaps the first thing you’ll notice is the massive panel windows that extend from ground to roof. Each floor features these beautifully reflective windows that mirror the stunning pool view perfectly in their surfaces. Surrounding the windows you’ll see wonderfully variegated stone slats in natural tones that complement the modern appearance rather than toning it down or detracting from it.

Inside House A, you’ll find a decor scheme that’s more of a comfortable take on the concept of “contemporary”. Each room is still filled with modernly shaped furniture in classic muted tones, but it’s not the kind of office level modern furnishings that appear uncomfortable, cold, or unwelcoming. Home A truly gives you the best of both worlds!
