Located in Tel Aviv, Israel, the 914 square-foot windowless basement was converted into two apartments for singles.

According to the architect, “the project included the design and execution of the kitchens, furniture, light objects and garden.”

Located in Madrid and designed by Ensamble Studio, the 4,300 square-foot residence is an impressive combination of heavy infrastructural pieces.

Canadian designer Robert Bailey has completed a dramatic gut renovation of this penthouse apartment located in Coal Harbour, a neighborhood of Vancouver, Canada.

“The original apartment was completely demolished, back to the concrete shell, and our design direction was influenced by the restraint of Scandinavian interiors” says Bailey.

Impressive Church Conversion in San Francisco

The owner of this former church overlooking San-Francisco’s Mission Dolores Park converted it into a single-family home with three bedrooms.

The church built in 1909, was bought in 2007 by commercial property developer Siamak Akhavan.  The brick exterior was upgraded, leaks were repaired, new floors added, and stain-glass windows restored.

The property, which underwent seismic retrofitting to better endure earthquakes, is on sale and offered at $7,490,000.
