Vancouver-based studio Marko Simsic Architect has designed the Swanwick Ranch, a contemporary home located in Metchosin in Greater Victoria, British Columbia.
Completed in 2006 and built by Anderson Cove Construction, the 8,300 square foot, eight bedroom, eight bathroom residence sits on a 67 acre lot with over 1,400 feet of low-bank oceanfront.

The Tiburon Bay House, located in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, was conceived as a contemporary, innovative approach to sustainable living and was designed by San Francisco-based studio Butler Armsden Architects.
The house is slated to be one of the first LEED-H Platinum certified custom homes in Northern California.
It is located on a previously developed site where the existing 1,500 square foot residence was deconstructed by hand and 95% was resused or recycled, including 10 tons of lumbers.

Tokyo-based studio Fuse-Atelier has completed the House in Abiko project, a three-story contemporary house in Abiko, Chiba Prefecture, Japan.
The brief from the owners, a married couple in their 30s, was for a concrete, gallery-like space where they could showcase their collection of design furniture.

Parihoa is a 600 acre farm elevated on the hills between Muriwai and Bethells beaches just one hour from central Auckland, New Zealand.
Patterson Associates designed the contemporary house nestled into the hillside with magnificent panoramic views of the coast.
The four bedroom home spans 6,890 square feet and has been finished in 2009.

Designer Jason Fort has sent us photos of the 68 Water Street project, a contemporary built to complement and blend in a historic neighborhood in St. Augustine, Florida.
Completed in 2007, this 2,400 square foot two-story home features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a 400 square foot roof deck.
