This wonderful house not only has spectacular outdoor spaces, but its interior is a combination of spaciousness, simplicity, and good taste. It has an outdoor terrace, decorated and furnished for the enjoyment of its residents, as well as a swimming pool.

The program was divided into three areas: private, social, and service. This strategic configuration aimed to protect the interior spaces, while allowing shade in the rest of the property.

Large tropical trees with tabular roots and crystalline natural wells are typical of the Yucatan Peninsula. These natural wells are of incredible beauty and are characterized by their freshness; its crystalline water allows us to see the dark tones of the limestone used to build it. The swimming pool in this house evokes this feeling.

Another typical detail of this area are the stones that, when turned to rust, give way to an intense red. This particular shade of red was used in one of the courtyards in order to allude to these rusty stones through its walls of inked concrete.

Inside, the retro decor fills the large space of high wooden ceilings and plentiful natural light.

This project is located in Yucatán, Mexico, covering an area of of 1,173 square meters, and was designed by the firm Tescala Architects.
