Russian studio Atrium has designed the Gorki House, a contemporary single-family residence for a young couple with a child.
According the the architects, “their only wish was to have a contemporary piece of architecture.
The site is situated not far from Moscow to the west.”

Completed in 2009, this 2,070 square foot coastal retreat is located in a beautiful natural landscape in Orcas Island, Washington.
Heliotrope Architects received a Merit Award – 2009 AIA Honor Awards for Washington Architecture for their design of North Beach.

Alan Kimble Fahey has spent the last 30 years building a 20,000-square-foot labyrinth of buildings, called Phonehenge West, in Acton, an unincorporated census-designated place in Los Angeles County, California.
Unfortunately, Fahey never got a permit and the Los Angeles County enforcers are now demanding that Phonehenge West be torn down, because of many building and fire code violations.
