These practical and functional containers have been designed by the Canadian architectural firm HonoMobo. The project consists of a container that has been converted and modified to create in its interior comfortable and perfectly conditioned spaces in order to serve as private residences. Said containers can be then sent anywhere in North America to serve as a home.

These container homes vary in size, and so can measure anywhere from 200 square meters to 1,520 square meters. They can be piled together or combined to create additional and personalized designs.

They have an open and flexible plan in its interior, and, additionally, have more than sufficient storage space. The large windows, running from floor to ceiling, give the home a strong connection to its exterior, and help flood the interior with natural light. For the interior and exterior design, the repurposed structures come with a variety of styles in a high-quality finish.

To enjoy these structures, all we need is an open lot and the approval of the pertinent public service offices.

These pre-fabricated structures have a construction time of somewhere between 10 to 12 weeks in a controlled environment with the intention of reducing the costs of construction and lower the level of debris. To obtain additional assistance, the HonoMobo team works with clients and local contractors to ensure that the properties are ready for their installation.
