Paris-based studio Moussafir Architectes Associés has recently completed the transformation of a classic brick-and-stone suburban house into a spacious 2,497 square-foot contemporary residence.
The Maison Leguay is located on a narrow corner lot in Bois-Colombes, a commune in the northern suburbs of Paris, 9 km (5 1/2 miles) from the center of Paris.

Amsterdam-based Studio Hofman Dujardin has recently completed the Villa Geldrop project in The Netherlands.
The villa is located at the end of a large lot, next to an existing barn.
Designed for a businessman and his family, the 4,467 square foot residence has all its bedrooms and bathrooms sheltered below ground.

Designed by Irish studio ODOS architects, this house is located at the foot of a steep escarpment in the Wicklow hills in Ireland.
The 3,089 square foot house, with it’s elevated living accommodation, allows “the fluidity of the surrounding landscape remain uninterrupted, whilst also giving the occupant a raised vantage point from which to engage with nature.”

The contemporary residence has an open style living room with 16-foot ceiling, three spacious bedrooms, a theater room with cafe doors leading out to a very private decking area.

São Paulo-based studio SPBR Arquitetos has designed this gorgeous concrete residence in Ubatuba, one of the most important coastal cities in the state of São Paulo in Brazil.
The 3,660 square-foot home sits on a 180′ x 52′ lot. The design process started in 2004 and the house was completed in 2009.
