Italian Studio Associato Bettinelli has completed the M2 House project in 2008.

Located in Bergamo, a town in Lombardy, Italy, the M2 house extends on two levels reuniting an old apartment and a loft in one functional space.

“The apartment expands vertically incorporating an attic through a massive wooden staircase conceived as a walkway from the bottom up; a dark solid volume that connects the two units.”
