The Boomerang Chair was designed by Kurt Dexel, the founder of Vancouver based company Dexel Crafted.

This mid-century danish-inspired lounge chair comes with a matching footstool, both crafted from black walnut, solid maple, and high grade leather.

The Boomerang Chair by Kurt Dexel:

“If necessity is the mother of creation, then accident must be the father. While pursuing an alternate design concept, Kurt began sorting through his off-cuts (the material left over when a piece of wood is cut). In doing so, he uncovered a triangular piece that he found particularly compelling.

After a brief period of exploration and experimentation the concept behind the Boomerang Chair – one of Kurt’s most impressive pieces – was created. Proof that an accident can lead to an idea and that ideas can lead to stunning works of art like Kurt’s Angular Collection.”
