After failing to retire at age 26, former IT guy and now carpenter Joel Allen built the HemLoft, a small egg shaped tree house in the backwoods of Whistler, British Columbia, Canada.

Allen’s hidden tree house is built on Crown lands and is now in danger of being taken down.
