Modular Units by Coodo:

“Nowadays we are noticing growing changes in people’s lifestyles that call for new forms of dwelling. The space is becoming more and more valuable and residential architecture is rapidly changing, from building classic family houses to making smaller prefabricated residence buildings that are thoughtfully designed, made of excellent contemporary materials and have much greater connection to nature surrounding it. In such spaces the quality of life improves immensely.

In Coodo, contemporary living, a young architectural office, we are aware of both, spatial problems and current trends and we want to be active participants in improving existing standards of living by using modern design, innovative solutions and contemporary materials in our practice. We have developed a group of modular units that combine all the qualities stated above with total modularity and compatibility. We think our modular units are the answer to the high standards that modern society has regarding to its living in terms of visual appearance and functionality.

All of our units were designed with a special consideration to the possibility of placing them in different surroundings (from natural scenes to different landscapes and architectural environments), different climates and allowing the buyers to customize them according to their own needs and wishes.

The group of our modular units consists of multifunctional pavilion, pergola, summer kitchen, mobile living units and residential building. The buyer can personalize his unit, among other, by choosing the facade material, its colour and texture . The units are therefore named my – My Cuisine Summer Kitchen, My Shade Pergola, My Leisure Pavilion, My Vacation Mobile Living Unit and My Home Residential Building.

My Cuisine Summer Kitchen

combines contemporary design, functionality and premium materials. It can be used as a standalone element or attached to MY LEISURE pavilion, MY SHADE pergola or any other preexisting structure of your choice.

The multifunctional grill is uniquely designed to allow preparing meals in different ways, on a metal plate or grate, heated by gas heater or lava rocks. There are drawers for storing cookware on the whole front side of the kitchen unit.

The unit consists of 3 parts: the sides (kitchen sink and counter) are made of white corian, while the casing of the middle part (grill) is of enamelled metal. All used materials are suitable for outdoor use.

My Shade Pergola

My Shade Pergola can be a standalone element inside a garden or adjacent to a house, or it can be joined with my leisure pavilion. It can be a cousy terrace, an outdoor kitchen with sitting area, lounge, playground, etc.

The roof can be provided with glass panels for protection against rain, or with fabric canopy or climber plants of your choice for shade.

My Leisure Pavilion

My Leisure Pavilion is a prefabricated multipurpose unit, serving a wide range of programs, private as well as public. My leisure can be a be used as summer kitchen, lounge, children’s playground, fair exhibition space, open bar etc., depending on needs and desires of its user.

Glazing the pavilion offers even more possibilities of usage – it can become an office, café, greenhouse/conservatory, sauna, fitness room, kiosk, showroom etc. Also other types of enclosure with different panel walls can be installed.

You can join several individual my leisure units together to get a larger space, attach it to the pergola my shade, or combine it with the my cuisine summer kitchen.

All mobile living units are fully furnished with custom made furniture, whose design follows curvy shapes of the units. Each unit can be custumized and turned energy self-sufficient. The units are equipped with distant monitoring system (a.k.a. smart house).

My Home Residential Building

My home residential building is a prefabricated house that can be configured by the client himself according to his needs. It is built of separate units, each of them representing a different living space (bedroom, living room, children’s room, bathroom, maitenance /laundry /utility and staircase. The units can be combined horizontally and vertically). The client can configure the layout plan of the house according to his needs by assembling the units, which can be combined horizontally and vertically.

All units are fully equipped and furnished, and therefore ready to be occupied immediately. The biggest advantage of my home is its flexibility. Its layout and appearance can be changed also later on by simply adding or removing individual units. My home can adapt to any changed conditions.

Apart from the appealing visual image, our mobile units offer their users great comfort. The form of the unit, with its curvy lines, is pleasant and calming comparing to the rigidity of the classic sharp edges. The panoramic windows give a lot of light and offer great connection to the exterior. One of the biggest advantages is the modularity of all the products.

The uniform shape makes them very easy to combine, giving the customer the freedom of creating spaces based upon their own ideas.”
