The Desert House:

“The most important architectural house you may have never seen. It is physically of the desert, a part of its surroundings. The strength of the hard and rugged protective shell exterior is drawn from the desert. The interior is a warm intimate space of flowing organic shapes. The property highlights the masculine and feminine forms that are the hallmark of organic architecture.”

  1. Taste is subjective so forgive me when I say this house is grotesque.

Looks like Khan Noonien Singh’s retirement house

  2. There are very few times when I wish I had more money than I do. This is one of those times. This home sings to my soul. I could so live there.

  3. To me that’s not entirely architecture but an “habitable sculture”…taste is too egocentric for me in this example, however there is a lot of very interesting games of light and stone…

  4. I would change the interior more to a traditional house as that’s what I’m accustomed too, but the exterior is very aesthetic with the surroundings…I LIKE IT! I’ve always loved the desert, so this would be an excellent getaway for me. It’s just a tad bit out of my price range however.
