PIL House is a home designed by Studio Guilherme Torres.
It is located in São Paulo, Brazil, and has a brightly-colored interior with an abundance of decorative accessories to add personality.
PIL House by Studio Guilherme Torres:
“The decoration of the apartment of Pil Marques, DJ and music producer in São Paulo, came out in the most unexpectedly way by the hands of the Brazilian architect Guilherme Torres and his staff.
The initial idea was to simply help the owner organize his countless collections, and adapt it to the style and taste of his flat mates, the artist Daniel Zanardi and also DJ Adriana Recchi.
When the architect began the process of immersion in the lives of the owners, he decided to radicalize and a venture that lasted four days involving the whole team of architects, painters and electricians working until the wee hours to conclude together the work that Guilherme considered one of his masterpieces.
Unlike common processes in the world of decoration, where usually there are a lot of new furnishings, this work involved many pieces of value. Amazing dolls to furniture were carefully hand-picked and the work involved a curatorial aesthetic.
The wide living room, before painted white, gained welcoming tones of blue. With this color, it was possible to create a strong base, which brought together all the different elements.
New key pieces were added, like the sheepskin rug, the large sofa, the black shelves. Another highlight was given to Pil’s equipment, now facing the entrance hall.
The kitchen, integrated with the living room, was painted pink. And not even in this space the collections is set aside, on the contrary! There are collections of china, penguins, clowns and rabbits…a delight for the eyes.
The climate remains in all areas, as in the bathroom with the walls taken by objects ‘mined’ around the world. Pil’s bedroom received his favorite toys.
A house constantly changing, reflects the spirit of the owners, urban and trendy people.”

awesome!
Spooky!
Complementando com as mesmas palavras dos comentários anteriores eu diria: impressionantemente caricato e assustadoramente artificial. Sorry mais uma vez.
