Parker Residence by The Quinlan Group:

“A substantial waterfront apartment, the Parker Residence was designed around the client’s love of large scale entertaining. The apartment has therefore been divided into two distinct zones, public and private. The interface between the two is a single continuous wall of joinery which can open and shut in multiple configurations depending on function.

This theme is carried through the entire public space, with multiple retractable laser cut screens allowing for maximum flexibility. The screens themselves are housed within a series of stone blade walls which anchor the scheme and double as display plinths for the client’s substantial art collection. The fixtures and finishes throughout the project are of the highest possible quality, with material chosen from a pared back, natural palette; creating contemplative spaces that draw heavily from the minimalist interiors of both the Japanese and the Brazilian modernists.”
