Apartment in Kiev by Studio BARABAN +:

“Apartment of 265 square meters (2,852 square feet) is located in the heart of Kyiv. Panoramic views from the windows offers spectacular views of the city and Dnipro river.

Comfortable and functional space is managed with iPhone. Three-meter art object in the heart of the apartment is made of metal and performs the function of both the cellar and the bio-fireplace, also managed with iPhone.

Furthermore, this bold art installation helps to hide concrete column in the center of the room.”

  1. Christopher Reece-Bowen says:

Ghastly! It’s hard to believe a design team were responsible for this. I do wonder if they were overwhelmed by rather too much ‘input’ from the owner. The main living space is particularly awful; like the tacky business class lounge of a not very style-concsious airline.

    so ugly

  3. Nicole Jaeger says:

    Oh God!
never seen before such project, speaking a lot about russian style. Architects fullfilled wishes of the investor – horrible & awfull!
