The Glass House is a project completed jointly by Essentials Interieur & Roy de Scheemaker.
The home is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
The Glass House by Essentials Interieur & Roy de Scheemaker:
“The king size loft in Amsterdam in a former Dutch telephone company building near the Rijksmuseum is a project by Essentials interieur and Roy de Scheemaker.
The loft has two levels. The difference between sitting and dining areas is a meter (3 feet).
The owners wanted to maintain the spaciousness and the long lines of the apartment.
In the middle a box is situated for the powder room, wardrobe and mechanicals. It is covered with grey glossy tiles.
Around the box, different areas are created, like living, entertaining, dinning, cooking and three bedrooms.
The sober and chicque interior designed by Essential interieur fits in to the growing art collection of the owner.
For the accessories, the clients favorite colors, red, white and blue were used.”
