This was the idea that SBM Studio had when they built this house in Kharkov Oblast, Ukraine, to create a space where the owners could enjoy the relaxing views over the lake and mountains that its privileged location offers. With a decorative style appropriate to its location, this singular home brings us the same sensation in its interior as on its exterior. A rustic air, a nature that floats in the atmosphere and transports us.
The brick walls add to the sober decoration of the living room, and the fireplace makes us feel warm and adds a feeling of comfort to the space. The smooth transition into the dining room and kitchen, in which the same style is maintained as a continuation of the areas, is an advantage when spending time with family or with friends and makes the progress from one space to another flow naturally.
The bedroom has a rustic and retro air, with exposed brick walls painted in white and carefree details that give it a natural touch. The works of art found in it add to this initial impression, and give it a taste of harmony and comfort.
In the second bedroom, the lamp is the protagonist. It captivates all eyes due to its unique appearance – more than a lamp, like a cluster of lamps – which gives the room a special touch. Its poster bed creates an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The mirror walls reflect the light, making the bedroom seem larger and adding extra luminosity.
