London Apartment is a glorious and subtly luxurious private home located right in the heart of London, England. A calming, sunlit haven, this apartment was created and designed by the innvoative Studio Ben Allen early last year. The moment you walk through the doors, your mood shifts and you feel immediately at home.

Possibly the first thing you’ll notice walking into the apartment is the stunning wooden cutout screens that separate the rooms into nice, relaxing sections throughout the home. All over the house you’ll find geometric shapes and lines within these screens; some panels are covered in triangles, others hexagons, and still more cut like parallelograms turned at angles to form cubes on a second glance. When the sunlight shines through big windows and casts its rays on these screens, the shapes created on the lovely wooden floors are breathtaking.

The blonde timber theme follows you through the house from room to room in the form of stylish wood paneling along the walls, counters, cupboards, and other features. Now, we’re not talking stereotypical cheesy 1970s paneling, of course. This wooden finish is far superior to a cheap veneer and it gives the apartment a lived in feel that’s all natural. That sense of comfort is amped up by huge beds, lots of cooking space, ceiling high book cases, and even a cozy little fireplace in the family room. This uniquely geometric home is truly meant to be loved and lived in.
