A Stylish and Bold Apartment in Kiev, Ukraine
By Magaly • May 4, 2017
This warm, modern apartment is located in Kiev, Ukraine, and was designed by Alena Makagon. Though the apartment is spacious, it is made cozy by its choice of color palette, which keeps the space warm and close.
The earthen tones of the walls, the decorative accessories, the art on the walls, and the soft rug all come together to make the living room feel welcoming, while still keeping a sense of stylish chic.

The light-colored wood of the floors that was used in the living room continues into the kitchen, which has a small dining room attached, creating a sense of stylish continuity. The mint and white used in the kitchen give it a refreshing feeling of elegance.

The décor in the proper dining room is bolder, with the dining table and wall panels of dark wood and electric blue chairs. A modern lamp in white and gold hangs from the ceiling, mirroring the white flowers in a vase at the center of the table.

The Master Bedroom is elegantly done in subdued tones, but the remaining ones, made for the younger inhabitants of the home, are colorful and playful.

The Master Bathroom is, as its corresponding bedroom, sophisticated and sober, while the additional bathroom has walls resembling a sauna, and others yet covered with wallpaper that reminds us of a tropical jungle.
