153 Franklin Street in Tribeca: DSK’s New $14 Million House Arrest Residence

Last sold in February 2008 for $6,79 Million, this four bedroom, 4.5 bathroom townhouse built in 1915 was heavily renovated by architect and designer Leopoldo Rosati.

The 6,804 square foot three story residence went back on the market in October 2009, with an asking price of $15 million, lowered to $14 million last December.

Removed from the market several weeks ago, the Tribeca pad is now the new house arrest spot for former IMF president Dominique Strauss-Khan.

10.05.11 Update: the house is back on the market, now offered at $12.5 million. In case someone needs a house arrest home base, the home is still for rent at $50,000/month…
