By Magaly • Jul 3, 2017
This wonderful building is located in a quiet villa’s housing area of Poznan, Poland. This detached house is built on the basis of wooden frame structure. The interior and exterior covered with cedar wood.
It was designed by architectural firm Mariusz Wrzeszcz Office, while the architects in charge of the project were Mariusz Wrzeszcz and Jan Celichowski. Meanwhile, designers Bartosz Konieczny, Tomasz Sołtysiak as well as designing firm firm BARchitecture Office also participated in the project. It has 166 sqm and was built in 2013.
It has a single level, which makes it a house with easy access and thus allows for easy connection between the house and the gardens that surround it.
Its glass walls provide natural light to the interior creating warm and pleasant spaces.

The wonderful interior is where the most striking aspect of the home is, with the incredible use of wood on the floors, walls, and ceiling. Far from making it looked packed, it makes it look much brighter, simpler, and frankly, more elegant.
The decoration, made in white, gray, black, and done in wood, creates wide open spaces full of charm, freshness, and light: simply put, it’s a truly wonderful atmosphere.
In the evening, the light highlights each one of the spaces and makes it look even more beautiful.
