This modern home, covering an area of 3822 square feet, and located in San Francisco, California, United States, was designed by Edmonds + Lee Architects in the year 2016.
It is owned by a couple who have two children and who needed at least three bedrooms and a spacious living room where the family could spend time together. As such, Edmonds + Lee decided to divide the building into two units, giving the owners what was most important for them.
They were able to avoid the typical market-driven pressure of maximizing square feet and instead focused on qualitative issues. As a result, they were able to work creatively, fulfilling the needs of the owners in a spectacular way, and giving them what they desired.
Its interior, with large spaces and high ceilings, is full of comfort and beauty. Beautiful wooden floors are in all rooms, giving them warmth and a touch of good taste. Added to this, the glass walls that have been located in almost all rooms allow the house to remain bright and illuminated most of the day with natural light, which helps save energy.
The home is full of modern spaces that are exquisitely decorated, and where every detail adds to the whole, creating, in the true sense of the word, a “home.”
