Once couples become parents, they start to think about how they can add open areas within the home that will contribute to their children’s development. This couple wanted to make sure that the living room has many storage areas. After extensive discussions, they decided to move away from a conventional design and reconsider the entire structure of the living room.
The design was under the leadership of the designer Ivan Chen of the Studio of Interior Design HAO Design in the year 2017, and it is located in the city of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Creating an ideal home involves more than simply building a safe and comfortable space for children to grow up. It is also important to preserve its own aesthetic sensibility, taste and lifestyle preferences.
Each aspect of the studio reflects the love for industrial style design, which blends beautifully with the wooden floors used for the common areas of the house to generate an air of classic elegance. The wood grain pattern extends to the living room, where the visitor’s eye is immediately captured by the leather sofa.
Moving from the main living room to the master bedroom, the general feeling is of tranquility and relaxation, with a use of shades of blue that represents a continuation of the classic style of the main living room. The child’s room has its own size-adjusted door, an innovative feature that is fun at the same time.
