This project revolves around the remodeling and extension of a single-storey Californian Bungalow, work that was carried out by the architectural firm Davidov Partners Architects, led by Robert Davidov, in the city of Melbourne, Australia. The remodeling and extension of this bungalow of 150 square meters was carried out in 2016 trying to reuse some of the existing spaces and avoiding demolitions at all costs.

To open the backyard, which was isolated from the rest, a new wing was created, allowing the main living and dining areas to be directly related to the backyard and freeing up existing space in the house to create additional bedrooms, as well as bathrooms and space for storage.

The living room-dining room and kitchen area resulted in a wonderful, modern space, a simplicity and elegance that enamors and full of light thanks to the glass doors that were installed and that divide the house of the gardens and at the same time connect them visually.

The light wood floors added to the walls and the total white furniture dotted only by the red rug and cushions of the dining room give the space a sense of spaciousness and at the same time reflect a warm and welcoming space.
