Hanging-Drying-Rack designed by Design Studio George & Willy

The Hanging Drying Rack is a practical way to create additional floor space in your laundry, kitchen or living room. It was designed by George & Willy, a Design Studio based in New Zealand, started by two childhood friends around 4 years ago. They came together and decided to turn their hobby into a full-time job.

They call their products “life tools” – things that you can’t buy anywhere else that solve everyday issues around the home, but not just in a practical way. They seek to also add a touch of good design to each and every home.

The Hanging Drying Rack, a simple and functional product which is designed to last, is an economical and environmental way to dry and air clothing. George & Willy were inspired by a mutual dislike for clothes horses, which often break, and washing lines, which are weather-dependent. Because of this, they sought to create their own solution – and so the Hanging Drying Rack was born. The device is even strong enough to hold damp towels! And it comes boxed with all of its components as well as fun instructions that will make installing it an adventure.

The Hanging Drying Rack is made out of aluminum, wood, yachting braid, and pulleys, and is available in two colors – white and black.
