This home, located in the mountains and surrounded by thick vegetation, was designed by the architectural firm ARKITITO Arquitetura in 2014. It covers a ground area of 260 square meters and is located in Condomínio Serra dos Cristais, Fazenda Velha, Cajamar, which is 45 kilometers north of São Paulo, Brazil.
The plot of land on which it sits is located on a hill, which creates a differences of level to which the construction was adapted by turning into an elevated home, like a tree house.
The main idea of the project was to maintain the connection between the forest and the house, so the owners could enjoy the local landscape.
The home is divided into two blocks with different levels, with a roof and walls made out of concrete, which have been painted in some of the rooms, giving an interesting look to the interior of the home.
Its décor is very colorful, especially in the kitchen, where vibrant colors have been used in its furnishings, granting the home vibrancy and joy in its spaces.
Tall glass windows allow for natural light seep in and flood the interior of the house, and give us a perfect view of the exterior from inside the home.
