Wonderful House Designed by Lopez Duplan Arquitectos

This wonderful house was designed by Lopez Duplan Arquitectos, more specifically by the architect Claudi Lopez Duplan, and is located in Mexico City, Mexico. It was completed in the year 2015.
The rectangular shape of the terrain made its designers seek to adapt to it in order to use most of the available space.
For the main finishing of its exterior, stone was used, which is always a good choice, because it adds strength and gives personality to the project. The second plane was softened with vegetation, to mark the difference between both, and add a reference to the important presence of nature at this site.
The patio allowed the architects to design a central space that, besides adding to the sources of natural light and vegetation for the interior, creates a transition area, as well as hide a service hallway that connects the service areas and public areas of the ground floor. All areas have large windows and doors that open to combine each individual one into a single, large space.
For the furniture, materials such as wood and various types of stone were selected in order to create a neutral color palette where the natural textures of each of the elements predominates. The aim was to achieve a harmonious and very warm atmosphere for both the family and their visitors, an atmosphere where all the details are designed to enjoy a total quality of life, beyond the challenges that have to be overcome every day.
