This spectacular house is located in the beautiful Oxford Gardens conservation area in North Kensington, in London, England. It was redesigned by the architectural firm Sophie Nguyen Architects in 2013, creating a space where functionality and a classic style are balanced, getting an excellent final solution, as expected by the owners.

The new annex building had to keep the harmony with the style of the old house, and also keep a connection and naturally pair itself up to the landscaped areas in order to provide a family sanctuary in one of the largest and most lively European capitals.

Moreover, several partitions were removed to include the second reception room on the west side of the house, allowing the afternoon sun to be visible from the new dining area. The glass roof between the new extension and the rear wall of the house allows light to stream deep into the original spaces.

Its interior design speaks of a classic and elegant style, something that we can appreciate on each of the fine details that compose it.

For the customers, the result was more than satisfactory, and they were grateful to the firm for the fact that they could feel really happily enjoy their new home for the rest of their lives.
