This house was built by Rmk! Arquitetura in 2012 and covers an area of 573 m2. It enjoys spectacular views of the Arroio Pelotas River in Marina Ilha Verde, Pelotas – RS, Brazil.

With external walls of stone and wood and vast green gardens, the home stands out for its very traditional interior décor. The living room’s glass walls allow us to enjoy the spectacular external views while sitting in front of the warmth of the fireplace.

Surrounded by glass walls on both levels, something that is obviously not missing from the living room is the natural light that permeates into all rooms and creates a luminous setting.

The stairs are lined with the same type of wood that covers the ground floor, and seem to float in the middle of the room, thus inviting us to go up to the second level where the bedrooms are located.

From here, we can access a large terrace that runs alongside the house and from where we can see the river. This terrace, with beautiful wood-made floors and a concrete ceiling, is delightfully decorated with outdoor furniture that invites us to relax in the evenings while enjoying a glass of wine in good company.
