This fabulous tea house is located on top of a hill, hidden in a forest located in a hot springs resort area outside of Nanjing, China. Its atmosphere and contemporary decor are nothing short of wonderful. We can feel an air of peace and tranquility that envelops us completely. The furniture is made of wood and in simple colors, charming in a classic yet fresh way. We can consider it a contemporary interpretation of the Chinese cultural heritage.
Every detail, every space has been beautifully planned and designed. The wood, which reflects warmth, has been used both on floors and on the high and wonderful ceilings, as well as on some walls. Most of the walls are made of glass, allowing us to enjoy the wonderful views of the perfectly manicured and peaceful gardens. Natural light fills the interior with brightness and life.
This work was designed by the architectural firm CL3 Architects located in Hong Kong. It has used a rather simple style and Zen aesthetic to achieve a quiet space away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The space is used as a tea house to promote the Chinese culture of drinking tea while also being innovative, seeking to meet the demands of modern life. The building is divided into a tea room, a calligraphy room, and a restaurant.
