This magnificent construction created by the architectural firm Pitsou Kedem Architects – by its architect Raz Melamed and its designers Irene Goldberg and Pitsou Kedem – in 2017 is located in Jaffa, the southern and oldest part of Tel Aviv, Israel. The home covers an area of 100 square meters.
Refurbishing presented an opportunity to unite the rooms into one whole and in particular, to illuminate and brighten the dim space by opening it up toward the sea.
Its entrance, where we can see the old stone walls and the stairs with ancient railings, does not serve as a warning for the wonderful and surprising transformation that we will witness in its renovated interior.
Its wonderful pointed ceilings, painted white, give a unique and charming look to each of the spaces, and create a perfect combination alongside the modern furnishings done in black metal.
The kitchen, with cabinets done in black, contrasts against the white of its walls, and stands out thanks to the natural light that seeps in from the outside.
The modern living room, with modern black and wood furnishings, has fabulous views of the sea seen through a large glass window set into one of its walls, allowing the exterior to form part of the interior.
The apartment is designed with an exquisite good taste, and in it stands out the simple elegance of each of its spaces.
