This 2,600 square foot three-story townhouse is located in Schaerbeek, one of the nineteen municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium.

The architects Pascal Monniez and Catherine Maraite have remodeled and extended the house for themselves.

Tenbosh House in Brussels by Patrice Lemeret and Michel Penneman

Tenbosch House is a recently opened hotel that comprises two contiguous Art Nouveau townhouses in the central quartier of Ixelles in Brussels, Belgium.

Owners Cedric Meuris and Bernard Devaux hired architect Patrice Lemeret to transform two nineteenth-century houses into one exclusive hotel, “small enough to care, yet spacious enough to give you freedom and calm.”

Designer Michel Penneman and Catharina Eklof chose carefully mid century Scandinavian furniture to make the hotel “a place of serenity.”

La Classe, an Old School Conversion in Belgium

La Classe is the name that owners Anne and Jean-Luc Laloux – both specialized in architectural photography – have chosen for this old village school they have converted into an accommodation for groups and seminars.

Located in the heart of Denée, a small village in Belgium, the 1863 building can now accomodate up to 21 people in seven bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.

Mini-Maison by Vanden Eeckhoudt-Creyf Architectes

The Mini-Maison (tiny house) is one of the many old small workers houses built in Forest, one of the 19 communes (districts) of Bruxelles, Belgium.

Transforming the modest house (each floor is only 245 square feet) into a contemporary house for a couple with no kids was a big challenge for Brussels-based architecture firm Vanden Eeckhoudt-Creyf Architectes.
