The Wave House by A-cero Architects in Dominican Republic

Spanish architectural firm A-cero started the Wave house project in 2006 and completed it in 2009.

This incredible concrete house is located at Punta Aguila in Casa de Campo – La Romana in Dominican Republic and was built as a year-round vacation compound where sun, sand and surf beckon.

Curling roofs and walls contain separate sleeping and living areas, clad in local coralline stone.

Maison L, an Amazing Concrete House near Paris by Christian Pottgiesser

French studio Christian Pottgiesser architecturespossibles has designed Maison L, a very unique residence for a six-person family, and was kind enough to send us some photos of the project.

Located half an hour’s drive west of Paris, the 9,360 square-foot residence sits on a roughly 54,000 square foot plot of old trees.

Hemeroscopium House by Ensamble Studio (Video)

Located in Madrid and designed by Ensamble Studio, the 4,300 square-foot residence is an impressive combination of heavy infrastructural pieces.
