Mexico-based studio CC Arquitectos has designed Villas Finestre, an housing project which comprises eight units of villa ranging from 5,380 to 10,764 square feet.

Completed in 2011, the project is located in Ixtapa, a beach resort in the municipality of Zihuatanejo de Azueta, in the Mexican state of Guerrero.

Situated in Murau, a small city located along the Mur river in Austria, the project consists of a traditional tavern with parts of a 13th century building that has been enlarged with a Cafe-Bar.

Montreal-based studio Blouin Tardif Architecture-Environnement has designed this new pavilion in the Spa La Source resort built on a mountainside in the Lanaudière region, one of the seventeen administrative regions of Quebec, Canada, situated immediately to the northeast of Montreal.

“The project as a whole is integrated into nature through its siting, the use of natural materials, and the framing of the surrounding landscape through generous openings in the contemporary architectural structure.”

Beautiful Church Conversion in Mill Hill by Baker Kavanagh Architects

Mill Hill is a landmark heritage church, located in Bondi, close to Sydney’s center in Australia.

Baker Kavanagh Architects have converted the church into two luxury apartments, planned around internal courtyards.

The original ironwork and windows have been retained, while new timber floors reference the existing timbers of the church ceiling.

Two contemporary terraces with a contrasting aesthetic were built adjacent to the church, in stark contrast to the heritage features that have been retained inside the church apartments.
