Exposed Ceiling Beams
Hong Kong-based architectural firm Studio Mackenzie-Chong Design has designed the Torre Moravola.
Completed in 2008, this contemporary boutique hotel is a restored tower at the top of a hill in Montone, Italy.
This renovation of a home in Montonate, Italy, was carried out by Benedini & Partners.
The design studio kept the original character of the home while adding modern comforts; there still are the thick ceiling beams of rich dark wood, the walls of clean plaster, and the large thermal windows to let light in.
This spacious farm house is located in Simrishamn, Österlen which is in the southeastern part of the province of Scania, in Sweden.
Though set on a farm, the home itself is surrounded by a dense conglomeration of trees and overlooks the sea.
Completed in summer 2010, Chalet le Petit Chateau is one of the most fantastic “ski in, ski out” chalets in Courchevel, one of the most popular ski resorts in the French Alps.
The chalet has one of the best locations, not just for skiing, but also only a 5 minutes walk from the center of Courchevel 1850.
Built by Philippe Capezzone, owner and architect of the five star Hotel Kilimandjaro in Courchevel 1850, the Black Pearl Chalet was conceived to “answer the most demanding criteria in terms of luxury and comfort.
A wonderful mix of contemporary design mingled with traditional Savoyard stone and classic woodwork panelling and beautifully finished with many designer materials and furnishings.”
We received some cool renderings of an exclusive development located in Grindelwald, also known as the “glacier village”, the largest and oldest resort in the Jungfrau region in Switzerland.
This development comprises five apartment buildings, a boutique hotel and seven exclusive chalets.
