Principe Forte dei Marmi is located on the Tuscan coast in Italy, just 38 minutes from Pisa, 36 minutes from Lucca and 1 hour and a half from Florence, offering spectacular views of the ocean and the Apuane Alps.
The 28 room hotel is set in the ideal location for exploring the Tuscan Riviera and is also a stone’s throw away from the major landmarks of the region.
London-based studio Daniel Hopwood completed the Design for Living project in July 2012.
The interior designer reconfigured a bijou apartment in Marylebone, London, UK, to create space where his “bons vivants clients could entertain lavishly, designing it with a sleek, creamy oak envelope and a hint of Halston ‘70s chic.”

Sanders Architects designed this pair of sustainable townhouses, located in West Los Angeles, California, USA, in 2012 as part of their Hybrid House project using a prefabricated frame, skin, and roof.
While parts of the homes are ready-made, they are hybrids of prefab and custom elements.
This approach allows for a unique residence at a fraction of the cost.
