Paul de Ruiter Architects & Chris Collaris Work Together to Create a Lively Townhome in Rotterdam, The Netherlands

Designed by Rotterdam-based studio Ooze, the Rotterdam Villa 2 project is a complete renovation of an existing detached house built a few decades ago and extended several times since then.
Located in Rotterdam in The Netherlands, the now 4,300 square foot residence has six bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms.
Located in South Rotterdam, Netherlands, this century old town house was abandoned and neglected for nearly 30 years before being radically transformed by the architects.
The existing building was completely emptied of its floors and inside walls, and a resolutely new contemporary house was built in it (1,600 sq ft), halfway between art and architecture!
