T&T Residence is a private home that was designed by Q_arts Arquitetura in 2016. It is located in Itaara, a municipality in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The home is a small farm with a slope of approximately 20 meters, and with a surrounding landscape that is practically untouched by man. This grants the home a level of tranquility and peace unimaginable in a large city.

Shinichi Ogawa & Associates have designed this stunning seaside villa in Hua Bin Beach, located in the Hua Bin district of Prachuap Khiri Khan province in Thailand. The home covers an area of over 970 square feet and was completed in 2017. The home is intended to be a weekend home where to spend some leisure time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and it is fortunate enough to be a mere 300 meters away from the main street to the beach.

The building’s prime location grants it stunning views across the valley of the river Dabune and the abbey of Göttweig to the south, and the vineyards of Krems an der Donau to the north.

This residence is located on a farm near Alma, Kansas, USA. Its design has been created to house a family of five members and their possible guests in an area of 5600.0 ft2. Alma is known as the “Native Stone Town”, and the walls of the fireplace and landscape are built in limestone from a nearby quarry. The residence is no different than the rest of the buildings on the farm, wood structures and roofs of sheet and limestone bases that extends in long horizontal lines.

Village Foods Co. is a food and beverage corporation located in Tahara City, Aichi, Japan, and they recently had this office designed for them by Design & Creative Associates. It covers a total ground area of 3,230 square feet, and was completed in 2017. Village Foods Co. is an international corporation, as it has many restaurants which are located not only the nearby area, but also in other places in Japan and even abroad, and they are rapidly growing.
This wonderful beach resort is located on the wonderful, exclusive, and very famous island of Mykonos, Greece, on the golden sands of Elia beach. It is an area where the magnificent landscape seems to blend in between ancient myths and modern legends forming a harmonious atmosphere. A place of singular beauty that is suspended between the sky, the earth, and the sea.

This 150 year old building has been transformed into a wonderful contemporary home by the Slovenian architectural firm Styria Arhitektura. In an attempt to preserve as much of the old material as possible, and seeking to preserve the cultural heritage of the Slovene countryside, the firm focused mainly on the interior, which was quite deteriorated, and began the ambitious process by organizing the structural details such as wooden beams and oak nails to be repurposed in the finished design, now reborn as the Vrhe House.

With a surface area of 8.66m by 38m, the challenge that Proyecto C Arquitectos (the Buenos Aires firm in charge of the project) faced was to grant all the requirements and necessities of a home in only two narrow floors. Carried out in 2014, the home would be enjoyed by a couple with two grown children (who would visit them often) and a teenager who would share the house with them.

This beautiful renovation of a charming, traditional, 19th century home with walls made of stone and a wooden roof structure covered with roof tiles, originally functioned as a bakery that served the local population, made up of mostly fishermen. Now, it has been transformed into a two storey home where the social areas have been distributed on the ground floor and the private areas on the first level.

This wonderful house is located in West Woodburn, Northumberland, on the border of the National Park, in England. The owner was involved in every stage of this self-build project with the help of Dan Kerr of MawsonKerr Architects to create a sustainable and accessible house for his parents who previously resided in a traditional farmhouse and wanted to continue living on the same site, but wished to have an outstanding piece of architecture that would create an accessible, comfortable, highly energy efficient home, using local and traditional materials in a contemporary way.

This marvelous home, where the most extensively used materials are stone and wood, is located in the eastern suburbs of Athens, the capital of Greece, in the mountainous region of Pikermi—named Drafi in Greek—where pine trees densely populate the land. It has a total area of 350 square meters and was constructed in 2017, undertaken by architectural firm Schema Architecture & Engineering, and supervised by architect Marianna Athanasiadou.
