This office, owned by holiday rental company HomeAway and located in Singapore, was designed in 2016 by architectural firm OSCA and has a total area of 8600 square feet, in which we’ll find offices and customer service spaces. Each office space is different with its distinctive and unique design. The use of dark material and the concept of vivid colors along with strong lines to define the office space create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Thinking about the employees and their need to feel at home, the space was created to be a pleasant and functional space, as well as very comfortable. The space has a cafe, restaurant, bar, etc. In essence, it is a common space for all types of personalities.
It makes use of textures and furniture with the proper lighting to create a warm and visually stimulating environment compared to the traditional office environment.
There are no assigned jobs, in such a way that employees and customers have full flexibility when choosing where they want to work. So it’s not strange to see staff members hanging around and working in different areas within the same day.
In an attempt to maintain the line of offices designed for the enjoyment of employees, the following spaces have been created: a meeting space “Fish Spa,” a conference space “bar,” a “living room,” and a homey discussion space – set with bean bags and all — with comfortable lounge furniture for causal discussions.
