Ladprao 80 house was erected from the existing structures of two houses. One of the homes was used to double the volume in the living area, and the second to fulfill the service functions of the home, located behind the parking garage, all of this in an area of 750 square meters. The result is a magnificent house full of light and with spacious and comfortable rooms.
It is located in Bangkok, Thailand, and its remodeling was undertaken by Chuti Srisnguanvilas from the architectural firm Black Pencils Studio in the year 2015.
The double façade on the main front of the house consists of glass walls, allowing natural light to fill the spaces with abundant light. Its interior, with high ceilings, gives visitors a sense of spaciousness.
The stairs, situated in a narrow space of beautiful polished wood floors, lead us from one level to another until we reach the large terrace that accompanies the bedroom area. There, spiral stairs with black metal railing take us to the rooftop, from where we can enjoy the views over the city.
In the evenings, artificial light seeps outside, creating shadows in the garden and giving the structure a sense of peace and calm.
