TH Apartment by Adrei-studio architecture

TH Apartment is a private residence designed by Adrei-studio architecture.

It is located in Nguyen Ngoc Vu, Cau Giay, Hanoi, Vietnam and was completed in 2014.

TH Apartment by Adrei-studio architecture:

“For some recent years, the trend of building “mini condominium” in Hanoi has been thriven incredibly to solve the housing problem so that those with low and average incomes can own the living space in the cramped urban area of Hanoi.

The owners of this apartment are among those people. They are the young couple with an 8-year old daughter.

They faced the inadequate problems when receiving this apartment. Therefore, they came to us with the hope of getting the design solution to rehabilitate this apartment and to improve the quality of their living space.

With our slogan “Just for fun”, we and the owners has found the common voice and unified that the new design of the apartment shall ensure the ventilation, the fill of natural light, the environmentally friendly and the importance of having “fun/enjoyment” when living in this apartment, however, at the reasonable cost to the average income of the owners.

We have changed the position of the kitchen and wc, of the main doors to the apartment, as well as used the oaken multi-functioned partitions in replacement of all the bricked partitions with conventional meaning to create the multi-layered space with maximum public functions (for living room, dining room…) while the privacy, convenience are maintained in the most efficient way. We, especially pay our utmost attention to the design of the interior doors. We changed them from the apathic compact panel to flexible details in order to limit the vision from the public spaces to private spaces and to adjust the ventilation when needed.”
